Here’s a link to an interesting article in the International Journal of Pain Management. A group of pediatric patients with bone breaks who were put in cast were found not to have healed properly after 4-6 weeks. The parents of these patients opted out of surgery, and the patients were then referred into a program using Low Level Laser Therapy, also known as cold laser. At the end of treatment all the patients had solid unions and all parents were satisfied with the result of treatment.
